MRE SIGUE SOPRENDIENDO EN NUEVOS AUTOS SLOT

Last week we asked when the Belgian racetrack at Zolder was last used for a Grand Prix. The answer is of course 1984, when the race was won by Michele Alboretto in the awesome Ferrari, all horsepower with a throttle like an On-Off switch. Lots of Grand Prix fans sent in the correct answer (and a few sent in the wrong answer as well !) and the first correct entry from the MRE hat this week is from Russell Barnes, so we expect to be sending the prize all the way to Essex. We are very excited about the MSC model of the Range Rover Paris-Dakar announced for this year. The well tested off-roader looks colourful with its VSD sponsorship, a long way from the earthy shades the original cars were released with. Promoted as a do-anything and go-anywhere vehicle, it was a new type of transport workhorse when it was released in 1970.
