USA , PINELLAS PARK : NEWS OF FAST EDDIE SLOT CARS 6 RACEWAY

Fall is in the air and so were some cars at Fast Eddie's Raceway this past week!!

Last week we got things started on 10/12 with the ever growing 4.5" FCR Hard Body class.

In addition to the battle for first place throughout the race between Corky & Stroker Ace there was a lot of close racing behind them as well for the final podium spot.

Corky Crave 203, Mark Kemp 202, Jack Latulip 196.

Afterwards we ran the Open Wheel Modified class and once again it was Corky taking his car into victory lane for a sweep on this evening. Corky Craver 218, Warner Bingham 212, Gary Johnson 203.

Thursday night 10/14 we ran our 4.6 Break-Out race on the Tri-Oval.

Ken Smith 200, Mike Moock 198, Nick Salyers 195.

Following the 4.6 Break-Out race we ran GT1/LMP cars on the hillclimb that i got to join in the fun on. 

Ken Green 178, Fast Eddie 176, Ken Smith 173.

Friday night brought us the 4" flexi NASCAR on the Tr-Oval. Jeff Flynn was chasing Charley all night and took advantage of some handling issues in the final heat to get the win. Jeff Flynn 240, Charley McCullough 237, Ken Engart 225.

Up next was GTP on the Hill Climb track. We ran into an issue with the blue lane relay during this race so total lap results only show 7 heats. Brian Ambrose 168, Charley McCullough 158, Jake Noyes 147.

We had a lot of new first time racers this past week who did a great job and held their own on the track. Congratulations to everyone who participated and thank you to all who stayed to help turn marshal all of the races.

Tonight we kick things off with the 4.5" FCR Hard Body class at 7:00PM followed by 4.5" Late Model class. Even if you are not racing this is a good one to come out and watch.

Wednesday night is TEST & TUNE. $10.00 for track time the entire night if you have your own car & controller.

Thursday night we start the 4.6 Break-Out race at 7:00PM on the Tri-Oval followed by the GT1/LMP class on the Hill Climb.

Friday night we will be running the 4" flexi NASCAR & GTP on the Hill Climb track.

Saturday we are still working on building the kids race program. This is open to all kids and will get started around 12:30PM. Saturday afternoon we will be running bracket races on the 1000' drag strip starting at 4:30PM. See attached photos of Marty Mohler vintage dragster he built.

There is a lot of great slot car racing coming up this year still in Florida.
