Scalextric C3643 McLaren P1---PRE-ORDER NOW! The McLaren P1 is a limited production plug-in hybrid sports car by British automotive manufacturer McLaren Automotive. The concept car debuted at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Deliveries to retail customers began in the UK in October 2013. The entire P1 production of 375 units was sold out by November 2013. It is considered to be the long-awaited successor to the McLaren F1, utilizing hybrid power and Formula 1 technology. NOTE: The car is supplied with the standard Scalextric chassis with an SP motor mounted as a sidewinder. The car does NOT include the PCR chassis (underpan) number C8533 (shown) that must be purchased separately. The replacement C8533 chassis, however, does install with the same mounting screws as the stock chassis. This car is designed so that a new C8533 chassis (underpan) can be installed to allow the installation of a Slot.it motor pod with your choice of Slot.it motor, gearing, wheels and tires.
