Tomorrow we release the FPV BF II GT in Bionic Blue and the HSV E Series '20 Years of' Maloo R8 in Voodoo Blue.   BR18309A FPV BF Mk II GT BIONIC BLUE - LIMITED EDITION OF 348 PIECES Biante Model Cars are very pleased to present the 1:18 Scale Ford Performance Vehicles BF Mk II GT in the striking Bionic Blue colour scheme. Released in October 2006, the FPV BF Mk II GT Series consisted of the GT and GT-P variations. Both were powered by the 5.4-litre BOSS 290 V8 petrol engine with either six-speed manual or automatic transmission as previously. Compared to the Mk I, there were only a few small differences on the new versions, with the Mk II most easily identified by their revised stripe packages and new wheels. Mechanically there was no difference between the two with both featuring the previously mentioned 5.4 litre V8 together with the eye-catching ‘BOSS 290’ graphics on the bonnet. The new GT / GT-P side stripes added a real presence to the look of the car and with the bold colour options they were unmistakably a modern Australian muscle car with clear influences from famous Ford GT’s of the past. Produced in high quality sealed-body resin, this finely-crafted 1:18 model truly replicates the shape of this performance icon with the sharp exterior lines resin is known for. The interior detail is expertly replicated as seen through the clear windows, with the body finishing and colour of this model a real standout too. The Bionic Blue paint job and Black sticker kit work so well together and it will simply be a beautiful collectors model to display. OF 348 PIECES WITH CoA   BR18401C HSV E SERIES '20 YEARS OF MALOO' R8 LIMITED EDITION VOODOO BLUE - LIMITED EDITION OF 474 PIECES Also coming this week is our 1:18 Scale Holden Special Vehicles '20 Years of Maloo R8' Limited Edition in Voodoo Blue. In 2010 HSV announced a special limited edition version of their performance E Series Maloo R8 to mark the 20th Anniversary of the nameplate after its debut at the 1990 Sydney Motorshow. The limited edition ’20 Years of Maloo R8’ included 20 inch Black and Chrome wheels, ‘Vector E-vents’ and hood scoops along with a raft of other technological upgrades. With only 100 units planned for the market in a range of remarkable colours, this limited edition performance ute was a fitting way to celebrate the 20th Anniversary milestone for HSV. The 1:18 scale replica of this model is an exceptional collector’s piece. The body lines in the sealed body resin are beautifully replicated on this model with the shut lines looking as realistic as possible. Little features haven’t been overlooked either including the impressive badge work, the metal etched grille in the front bumper assembly along with the metal etched side skirt vents, the hood scoops, side vents and the black and chrome wheels are all really nice highlights. No shortcuts have been taken with replicating the interior of this model either. Upon looking through the clear windows you can see a very high attention to detail, right down to the seat trimmings, dashboard instrumentation and logos.
