PINNELLAS PARK - FLORIDA - USA - NEW RESULTS COMING TO US FROM FAST EDDIES SLOT CAR & RACEWWAY

 

 PINNELLAS PARK - FLORIDA - USA - Tonight is TEST & TUNE from 5:00PM - 9:30PM. Track time is only $15.00 for the entire evening.

Our Bracket Drag racing starts at 6:30PM followed by Heads Up racing.

We will be racing in the new JDS Nostalgia Drag Racing Championships (NDRC) with other tracks around the country.

The class we will be racing in is Nostalgia Super Stock. I've attached a copy of the rules for your use if you are interested in running in this. There will be 6 races and our first will be on March 22nd.

This past Monday was great to have Scotty & Jesse joining us from Tampa in the 4.5" Nostalgic Hard Body Stockcar class.

Top qualifier was Walter Buxbaum with a fast lap of 4.124 while qualifying on orange.

Monday 2/21/23 - 4.5" Hard Body Stockcars.

It was great having Aaron Hungerford join us from W. Virginia and Guy Ritondale (Ralph's friend) are getting to join us as well.

In qualifying it was Walter Buxbuam winning TQ on the night with a fast lap of 4.018 while qualifying on orange.

Walter Sparks won the Hot Wheels donated by Gary Johnson for 3rd place in the B-Main just edging out Max Lewis by only a few feet.

Wednesday 2/22/23

It was a blast on the drag strip with everyone that came out for some fun with the gang.

Big Mike and his daughter Sofia joined in the fun as well as Josh and his dad Keith.

Mike's daughter's nickname is the Purrminator and she will be a force to reckon with sooner than you think.

In the Bracket races it was Ken Engart winning the light money in the 1st round with a reaction time of .0051

Gary Dorman won the classic 1960 Hot Rod magazine donated by Steve Clark.

Bracket Quarter finals

1st race - George Greene's Gasser Mustang vs Ken Engart's Fatt Butt Plymouth

2nd race - Ed Klean's BOSS Mustang vs Steve Clark's Gold 66 Impala. Steve take the win.

3rd race - Steve Clark's It's Mint vs George Greene's 69 Camaro. George (the Ninja) gets the win.

4th race - Mike LoGrande's LX Mustang vs Ed Klean's Blue Max Mustang. Awesome Mustang showdown and Big Mike takes the win.

Semi Finals

1st - George Greene's 69 Camaro vs Mike LoGrande's LX Mustang. George hits a great light for the win.

2nd - Steve Clark's Gold 66 Impala vs George Greene's Gasser Mustang. Steve puts down a great pass for the win.

3rd place race - George Greene's Gasser Mustang vs Mike LoGrande's LX Mustang. Close race but George edges out Mike for the win.

Awesome job by Big Mike in his first drag race. He also had a .0004 in his first pass in the second round that won him a bye into the 3nd round.

Finals - Steve Clark's Gold 66 Impala vs George Greene's 69 Camaro. George jumps early and Steve wins 1st on the night.

In the heads up car hauler race I took first and Ken Engart took 2nd.
