NEWS FROM THE SOUTH AFRICAN MODEL CAR ASSOCIATION

 You can’t make this up...

In the GT12 Open Class semi-final of the SA Nationals, held in Port Elizabeth, Louise Petzer was taken out when her Dad, Hennie, of all people, crashed into her, causing her to retire and missing the cut for the final...
Her Dad went through to the final, along with Alex Frow and Anthony Bithrey (both from PMCC) and Clinton Landman from East London.
If Alex won, he would become the new South African Champion, beating Louise by 6-points...
In the final, Hennie drove the race of his life to take the win, with Alex finishing second. As a result, Louise won the overall championship by just 2-points, giving her back-to-back titles.
Hennie more than made up for taking Louise out...
