This
week at biante.com.au we have another beauty for all the Ford Fans out there.
1992 saw the introduction of a new set of regulations into Australian Touring
Car Racing. Group 3A was born out of a desire to re-introduce the tribal Ford
verses Holden rivalry that had been developed over many many years. Group 3A
eventually evolved into the V8 Supercar category as we know it today, but back
in Sandown 1992, only 3 cars were built to the new rules - and this was the only
Falcon. The Glenn Seton Racing Ford EB Falcon, piloted by the man himself, Glenn
Seton and then team mate, 1980 Formula One World Champion, Alan
Jones.
Limited to only 684 pieces, this is a very limited release of a
very historic car in Fords history in modern Australian motorsport. The 1992
Ford EB Falcon, driven by Glenn Seton and Alan Jones will be released at
biante.com.au at 12 noon WST Friday 1 June
2012.
