Eddie's Stock T-Jet race with Trans Am bodies held on August 29, 2015 - race report.

We had a smaller than normal turnout, with only 7 racers making the event. But, as always, the racing was close and fast-paced. It was good to see Howard back in the racing seat - his first time since The 2015 Ohio Cup race we held in June.

At the end of the two Qualifying Heat races the totals were...

Eddie with 81.83
Danny with 78.130
Howard with 78.127 only 3' behind Danny
Rex with 78.70
Sean $¢ with 77.56
Charlie with 75.66
Adam $¢ with 68.08

So, the "B" Main consisted of Rex, Sean, Charlie and Adam. Sean was definitely the fastest car on the track and ended up 4 laps ahead of the field. Totals were...
Sean $¢ with 82 laps and moving up to the "A" Main
Charlie with 78 laps
Rex with 77 laps
Adam with 68 laps

The "A" Main saw Sean take the early lead and never looked back. Eddie made a great effort and ended up only 49' behind after 16 minutes of racing. Danny and Howard were racing for third and fourth places, with Howard besting Danny by only 4 feet!!

Sean with 82 laps and 66'
Eddie with 82 laps and 17'
Howard with 79 laps and 32'
Danny with 79 laps and 28'

It was a night of extremely close racing, with "offs" determining the outcome of the races. One off usually resulted in 20-30 feet of lost track distance and that soon added up!

Please take note...Dodge Chargers nor Pontiac GTOs are NOT Trans Am cars - but we allowed them since some didn't have the appropriate bodies!
