It's that time of the year again... Spielwarenmesse, the annual toy industry fair in Nuremberg, Germany was earlier this month and with it came the start of the new announcements for 2020. First up are BBR and Minichamps.
BBR have a bunch of premium new and reissued 1:18 Ferraris in the pipeline, including multiple versions of the F12tdf (Tour de France), three Enzos, an FXX-K and four F1 cars from 2019, including Charles Leclerc's first two wins: the Belgian GP and the Italian GP just seven days apart.
Minichamps have a swag of new products in the pipeline which we have broken up into nine sub-categories to make it more manageable. There's Formula 1 in 1:12 1:18 and 1:43, road cars in 1:18, 1:43 and 1:87 (HO). There are road and racing bikes in scales from 1:4 down to 1:12, plus Rossi helmets in three scales. Lastly for something different come a number of F1 steering wheels (1:2) and for Porsche fans, a selection of classic road car wheels modelled in 1:5, including the iconic Fuchs from the 930 and the Turbo Twist style from the 993.
Many of these newly announced items haven't been supplied with images, so we've sourced a few images of the real vehicles to be modelled just for now and will update them as the manufacturers provide them.
