Foto: A little behind so I thought I would catch up a bit here are the results from the Ray Kemp Memorial race at theRaceway.biz in Melbourne Florida. It was a great day of racing. RAY KEMP MEMORIAL IN THE BOOKS POINTS RACE #2 THIS FRIDAY LIKE US ON FACEBOOK! MELBOURNE, FL - (13 APR 2013) - A very healthy field signed in for the RAY KEMP MEMORIAL DRAG RACES Saturday the 13th. Several notable performances were turned in: KEN COLLET made the semis in all three classes and was runner-up in Pro-Stock. TEM RASKIN made all three finals, won the .890 Index class and Pro-Stock as well as quick R/T (.008) in Pro-Stock. JOAN RONHOCK was our Brackets champion and had the best R/T of the day (.003) in the first round of Brackets competition. DAVE COOK took the trophies for Best Appearing Lexan and Quick R/T in .890 Index with an .020. Balloting for Best Appearing non-lexan was a tie between Bill Colvard's Corvette and George Hawes' T-Bird Pro-Stock. Rather than vote again, it was decided the two would "race for it". Bill's 'Vette was a bit quicker, but the race proved good looking cars do go fast! Congratulations to all the winners !
