We had a great evening racing 1/32 and 1/24 (S32 & S24) sports cars.
Wahlied Fortune and Russell Sheldon, who made a return to club racing after a 10 week absence, raced nose to tail for the first two segments of the S32 race, until Russell lost 6-laps due to a track issue. Wahlied took the win with a personal best 113.73-laps, with Willie Taylor 2nd (109.39-laps) and Saligh Fortune 3rd (108.38-laps). Fastest lap went to Russell, with a time of 6.058 seconds.
Relative newcomer Pieter Grobler put in a stunning performance to take the S32 B-Class win (106.55-laps), with PJ D'Aguiar 2nd (101.89-laps) and Piet Beukes 3rd (95.30-laps).
Kevin Saunders won C-Class (99.51-laps), with Francois Roux 2nd (97.13-laps) and Ryan Swart 3rd (95.08-laps).
Birthday boy, ou Oupa Willie, won S24 (128.56-laps), with Wahlied 2nd (126.08-laps) and Russell 3rd (123.50-laps). Russell did the fastest lap, with a time of 5.196 seconds.
Pieter put in another brilliant performace to win B-Class with 122.49-laps, setting a new B-Class lap record of 5.237 seconds. PJ was a distant 2nd (114,12-laps), with Ted Van Der Meulen 3rd (110.71-laps).
S24 C-Class was won by Francois (112.12-laps), with Kevin 2nd (109.44-laps) and Razeen Roberts 3rd (108.74-laps).
