Etapa 8 - Stage 8: Uyuni - Iquique, 784km special + 24km connection, Llovera - Alex Haro MD Rallye Sport 43:39:23 at 16:58:08 from leader, provisional 45th position ‪#‎Dakar2015‬

Hemos vuelto a Iquique! Etapa maratón superada, complicada además por la lluvia que hizo que la organización neutralizará buena parte de la especial en el Salar de Uyuni. Con esta se nos mojó toda la ropa y ayer, con el frio a 4000m, apenas si pude dormir esta noche. Hoy tuvimos que hacer un par de remiendos con un pinchazo y el sistema de frenos que dejó de funcionar. Ahora a descansar TODO el día! Ya nos tocaba!

We got back to Iquique! Marathon stage passed, furthermore complicated by the rain that forced the organization to neutralize a good deal of the special at the Salar of Uyuni. The rain also caused that we got all our clothes soaked and, with the cold at 4000m high, I nearly could not sleep last night. Today we had to make a pair of quick fixes with a flat tire and the brake system that stopped working. Now I'm going to rest ALL day long! It was about time!
