LA COLUMNA DE ALBERT LLOVERA

Ya sabéis que nuestro querido Abarth S2000 se ha marchado a Kenia. Estuvimos allí, con Jorge de la Fuente como ingeniero, para poner a punto el coche para Nikhil Sachania, el piloto que también va en silla de ruedas, y que para este Safari Rally volvió a competir con su habitual Mitsubishi, ya que nuestro Abarth aún estaba en las aduanas keniatas hasta esta semana. Por primera vez, estuve en el mítico Safari Rallye con 70 inscritos y con vehículos tan diferentes como el Mitsubishi de Nikhil, una docena de Evo10 y en medio el mítico Datsun Safari o el Porsche 911. Fue una auténtico gustazo verlos compitiendo.

I've already told you that our Abarth S2000 has left for Kenya. We went there with Jorge de la Fuente as engineer, to tune up the car for Nikhil Sachania, the pilot who is also in a wheelchair, and that for this Safari Rally competed again with his usual Mitsubishi, because our Abarth was still at the Kenyan Customs until this week. I was at the mythical Safari Rally for the 1st time, with 70 teams enrolled and with vehicles as different as Nikhil's Mitsubishi, a dozen of Evo10 and in between the mythical Datsun Safari and the Porsche 911. It was a real pleasure to watch them competing.
