Hello racers and race fans. Race day is right around the corner and we are preparing for another exciting event at Ho-b Max on Aug.22, 2015. It's hard to believe that Race 11 is upon us, and there are only 4 more races after this one. I'm already looking forward to next season. This has been a really good season for TSRA, although it has also been a learning curve in some areas. Changes are in progress to make next season even better. One change that will be initiated at the Aug. 22, 2015 event is "closer inspections for the ProSlot 4002fk motors in the LMP class. Our Technical Director will be inspecting the seal for any evidence of tampering. What is allowed is the removal of the seal from the bottom of the can in order to achieve a flat motor installation in the chassis. The 2 can screws at the top of the motor should be covered by the seal and not visible during inspection. Although I have seen brand new motors still in the pack with a screw slightly visible, the Tech Director is aware of this and know exactly what to look for during "Tech In". This is not to say we have found any violations, but only to maintain equality in the motors in the LMP class. Racers, if you are not vacationing next week, join us for a great evening of racing.
