First up this week is the impressive latest release from Aaron Noonan and his V8 Sleuth team, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Holden's first victory at Mount Panorama in 1968. Holden at Bathurst is the ultimate, hardcover photographic history of the marque at The Great Race, featuring over 1000 photos. Every racing Holden to have appeared in the Bathurst 500/1000 between 1963 and 2017 is included, even non-starting cars, non-qualifiers, spare and test/training cars too.
Also from V8 Sleuth comes Cars of the King, a unique look at every car driven by Peter Brock at Bathurst during his long career. This collector's magazine also features race stats, fast facts and interesting insights from a selection of Brock's co-drivers and is a celebration of Australia's most famous driver and the cars that tamed Mount Panorama.
For 1:64 fans we have two new releases this week: the Mobil 1 HSV Racing Holden VF Commodore as driven by James Courtney in the 2017 Supercars Championship Season, featuring the bold fluoro orange and black livery that debuted under new partner Boost Mobile. As a tribute to the 50th anniversary of Holden's first win at Mount Panorama, we are also releasing our VF Commodore Supercar resplendent in the retro livery of Warwick Yellow and the black racing stripes made famous by the HK Monaro GTS 327 that started it all, way back in 1968.
Finally we'd like to congratulate Scott McLaughlin on his maiden Virgin Australia Supercars Championship win at the Newcastle 500 on the weekend. We have limited stocks still available of our 1:64 Shell V-Power Racing Ford FGX Falcon that marked McLaughlin's first (and second) wins for his new team at the 2017 Perth SuperSprint just 18 months ago.
All items will be available to purchase online at www.biante.com.au from 12 Midday WST today, November 28.
