This week TSM-Model have announced their 1:43 range of 2019 Daytona 24 Hour cars. Of special significance for us Antipodeans are the #67 Ford GTLM co-driven by Ryan Briscoe (Australia) and Scott Dixon (NZ) plus the #24 BMW M8 GTE co-driven by Chaz Mostert (Australia), both featured below.

Over at LookSmart there are five new Ferraris - the 330P that placed 2nd at Le Mans in 1964 piloted by Graham Hill and Jo Bonnier, Michele Alboreto's 3rd-placed F1/87 from the 1987 Monaco GP, two 250 LMs and a 156 from the 1964 Italian GP.

Porsche 917K - Winner, Le Mans 1970 - #23 Hans Hermann / Richard Attwood
This week marks 50 years since the one of the greatest racing cars of all time was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show - the Porsche 917. The 917 gave Porsche its first overall wins at Le Mans in 1970 and 1971. Powered by a flat-12 engine of 4.5, 4.9, or 5 litres, the most powerful 917/30 Can-Am variant was capable of 0-100 km/h in 2.3 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 5.3 and a top speed of up to 390 km/h.
