NUEVO CHASIS GEMINIS FUE EXITOSAMENTE PROBADO CON CARROCERIA DE JI Y PINTURA DE JUANPI DECORACIONES (MID AMERICA PRODUCTS)

 USA - Multiple times South African Champion Gustav Heymann has tested the first Mid America Products Gemini chassis at the Pretoria Model Car Club - Home of the 2023 South African International Slot Car Racing Grand Prix (www.saigp.co.za). His verdict is that it is as fast as their best Production cars. Given that the chassis we currently use in Production have been developed and refined for flat track racing over a period of at least six years, it bodes well for the future.

As part of SAMCA's frustratingly tedious homologation process, I'm sending the one pictured to Colin Lotz, the SAMCA Chairman, to test on the Port Elizabeth Model Racing Car Club track, to hopefully gain his approval. Kudos to Roger Schmitt for having the courage to invest a not insignificant amount of money to produce the new Gemini chassis.

The car pictured is a SAMCA-spec Production car (S16D motor), with a Mid America Products JI Aston Martin body, beautifully airbrushed by Juan Pablo Guala Carrocerias Juanpi - no decals!

Múltiples veces el campeón sudafricano Gustav Heymann ha probado el primer chasis Mid America Products Géminis en el Pretoria Model Car Club - sede del Gran Pretoria Internacional de Carreras SLOT 2023 www.saigp.co.za Su veredicto es que es tan rápido como sus mejores coches de producción. Dado que el chasis que actualmente usamos en Producción ha sido desarrollado y perfeccionado para carreras en pista plana durante un período de al menos seis años, es un buen augurio para el futuro.

Como parte del frustrantemente tedioso proceso de homologación de SAMCA, estoy enviando el que aparece en la foto a Colin Lotz el presidente de SAMCA para probar en la pista del club de carreras de Port Elizabeth Model Racing, con suerte obtener su aprobación. Felicitaciones a Roger Schmitt por tener el coraje de invertir una cantidad no insignificante de dinero para producir el nuevo chasis Géminis.

El coche en la foto es un coche de producción SAMCA (motor S16D), con un carrocería Aston Martin Mid America Products JI, bellamente aerógrafo por Juan Pablo Guala Carrocerias Juanpi - y sin calcomanías!
