There was a huge amount of new models announced by these two brands at the recent annual toy fair in Nürnberg, Germany... We've split them into 12 categories to make things a bit more workable, 1 for BBR and 11 for Minichamps. Some items don't yet have the actual model images supplied, so we will add and update these as they become available.

In this category there are 9 items; four new versions of the iconic Porsche 930 (aka 911 Turbo) along with five examples of the racing Porsche 934 - two in plain colours and three in Le Mans livery.

There's 16 items in this category, particularly for fans of Valentino Rossi. There's his bike from Catalunya 2018 in 1:12 above, plus ten 1:10 helmets, a generic 1:10 display case and four of the larger, 1:8 helmets.
1:18 & 1:43 Formula 1 and Formula 3

Over at the pointy end of the motorsport hierachy we have 38 new models to announce. In 1:18 are F1 cars from Minardi, Tyrrell, Jordan, McLaren and Benetton, including two Michael Schumacher Australian GP World Championship cars. In 1:43 there are seven McLarens including three Senna race-winners. Rounding out the category are Mick Schumacher's 2018 F3 European Championship-winning Dallaras in both scales, along with both scales of his 2018 Macau GP car.
1:18 & 1:43 Formula E

The emerging Formula E series is now in it's fifth season, using a new Gen2 car with big advances over the previous chassis, with power rising from 200 kW to 250 kW and an end to the series’ mid-race car-swaps. Joining the factory Audi, Jaguar, Venturi and Mahindra teams this season are Nissan, BMW and DS, with heavyweights Mercedes and Porsche set to debut in 2019-2020. Minichamps are producing two cars per team in both scales, along with the show car above, making a total of 46 models.

Here we see a number of racing cars in various liveries, including some road going versions of them too. There are a number of classic competition models including the BMW 2002, 3.5 CSL and 320i Group 5 and Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 along with some legendary rally cars like the Lancia Stratos, Fiat 131 Abarth and Ford Escort RS 1800. The present day is represented by the new BMW M8 GTE and Porsche 911 GT3 R.

There are few more iconic road cars in motoring history than the Mercedes 300 SL and there are three colours announced in this group. Also in this category are a large selection of Porsches, from the final iteration of the original 911 series (3.2 Carrera in coupé and cabriolet form), numerous forms of the current 991.2 GT3 and a couple of 918 Spyders.

Some beautiful models to be found in the sealed section here, including BMW's 2002, 2800 CS, 3.0 CSi, 635 CSi and the new M2 Competition. There's also Porsche's 911 GT2 RS, GT3 RS and 964 Turbo and for Mercedes fans the short and long wheelbase versions of the original G-Wagen and a special edition AMG GT3. As an antidote to the Swabian onslaught, are three versions of the trusty Volvo 740 Wagon.

Minichamps' smallest, HO scale sees some great new additions of all sorts for railway modellers, with Audis, BMWs, Mercedes, Porsches, Alfas, Lamborghinis, even the Ford Mustang! There's only a handful of images released so far amongst the 141(!) entries, so a little imagination is required here!
1:35 Military Range

Four new tanks have been added to Minichamps' range of military vehicles. The 1:35 scale indicates the model above would be approx 24.7 cm long (including gun).
