Warmup race for the 2023 Legacy Stock Car spring points series

The Madhouse at Archdale Slot Car Speedway

Bryan Leonard picked up his 14th weekly series win at Archdale Slot Car Speedway on Thursday, January 12, 2023, besting a field consisting of veteran AWRA racers.

Here are the results.

1. Bryan Leonard - 323 laps

2. Mike Margiotta - 310 laps

3. David Breitenstine - 304 laps

4. Gregg Baker - 303 laps

5. Kenny Springs - 289 laps

6. Justin Kuhiman - 261 laps

Thursday's race was a warmup for the spring points series, which will feature stock car bodies.

AWRA Legacy WOMPS are affordable and fun to race. They combine inexpensive motors with vintage chassis with spec gearing to provide competitive racing on a budget,

Archdale Slot Car Speedway is currently opting for the Legends bodies for their program, but other bodies, such as VW Beetles, Modifieds, Corvettes, and others are allowed in the class.
