DUE TO ARRIVE
Many cars we expected to arrive from Spanish manufacturers have not materialised, so we don't expect them now for a few weeks as Spain is now effectively closed for August. See last weeks Newsletter for details of the cars that should have been delivered by NINCO and SCALEAUTO and OSC.
We should be getting a couple of new SCALEXTRIC cars before the warehouse closes, two Lotus Evora GT4 models are now due for release. The black # 117 car is a fully detailed car, and the red & black # 51 car is an SR model.
Shipped just before closing for summer vacation, the MSC Paugeot 405 T16 Dakar is on the way. This high-detail resin model has full 4WD and working suspension.
NEW CARS ANNOUNCED
Nothing new has been announced by any manufacturer, most of them are on vacation now and we don't expect any news until the end of August.
NEWS ROUNDUP
FLY LIMITED EDITION TRUCKS. In the FLY delivery that arrived were the recently announced trucks celebrating the Daytona and Charlotte raceways in the USA. These were specially commissioned items for an American business and very few trucks came into the UK. Although we have had a delivery it was very small, not enough to fill all the advance orders, sorry. Unfortunately we cannot get any more, so if you haven't received notification that your order is available it means we can't supply you as the orders that were made first have used up the small number of trucks we received. This rarely happens, apologies to the customers concerned as we would have liked to receive more stock.

NEWSLETTER NEXT WEEK ? We may not be able to manage a Newsletter next Thursday due to being away from the MRE office for a few days. We will do our best to get something out to you as soon as we return, but it may be a day or two later than usual. Orders will be posted out next week from the MRE warehouse, but there will not be anyone available to answer the phone or emails after Monday, sorry.
