We are almost one week away fron the 2017 USRA Scale National Championships at Mid America Naperville.

This is the 30th anniversary of the 1987 USRA National Championships rhat also was held in the Chicagoland area.

The 1987 USRA Nats was the first time that there were Flexi classes raced at the Nats.

There was a Flexi race for 16-d motors and a Outlaw Group 12 race also using Flexi chassis.

Rick Stagen and Ron Hershman was the winners of these races and their first ever National Championships. Both still race to this day along with Steve Koepp ..... 30 years later.

At the 2017 USRA Scale Nats, there will be three classes ( Gr 10, LMP & GTP ) using Flexi chassis.
