We just received four much-requested cars from Scalexric, including the latest bright yellow Trans-Am Javelin and a pair of E-Type Jaguars that were trying to beat the Ferrari GTOs . You can order yours now.

Scalextric C3921 AMX Javelin Trans Am - Roy Woods 1971

AMC AMX Javelin - Roy Woods Racing 1971 For 1971 the Roy Woods Racing Team entered two AMC Javelins into the Trans Am racing series. The cars were painted in a bright yellow with contrasting black scheme, and whilst they couldn’t quite match the pace of the other competitors, they scored a number of good results and certainly looked the part.

Scalextric C3898A Legends Jaguar E-type 1963 International Trophy TwinPack Limited Edition

Legends Jaguar E-type 1963 International Trophy Twin Pack Scalextric is celebrating this special time in motor sport with a Legends Jaguar E-type 1963 International Trophy Twin Pack - Limited Edition (C3898A) due in 2018. Using the already popular new Jaguar E-Type tooling, we’re looking back to the 1963 Sussex Trophy that pitted a great British car against the might of the prancing horse from Italy.

Goodwood Revival Commemorative Two-Car Set Back in the autumn of 1998, motor racing returned to Goodwood for the first time in over 30 years. What was once an integral part of the British racing scene, Goodwood enjoyed the best motor racing had to offer from 1948 to 1966. Boasting attendance from some of the top drivers of day, the circuit saw some epic battles and cars now considered classic all over the world. With greats such as Juan Manuel Fangio, Stirling Moss, Mike Hawthorn and Jim Clark taking part, to name but a few, Goodwood will be forever associated with this special time in motor racing.

Goodwood Revival recreates and celebrates this fact today for a weekend every year, stepping back in time to enjoy the romance and glamour of this special period in motor racing. With everyone in attendance dressing for the period, and a ban on modern cars within the circuit on race days, Goodwood Revival is unlike anything else in the racing calendar.

Scalextric C3910 Ford Sierra RS500 ANZ Sierra Bathurst 1988

The 1988 Bathurst 1000 was a memorable race for many reasons. Not least was the outstanding performance of Klaus Niedzwiedz to put the ANZ Sierra on top in the Toohey’s Dozen run off, ahead of the favourite and eventual racer winner Tony Longhurst. Sadly, the number 9 Sierra failed to finish the race, but the pace of the shootout lap, with the Sierra spitting flames across the top of the mountain as it danced down past skyline lives on.

Number: 9
Race: James Hardie 1000, Bathurst
Team: Allan Moffat Enterprises
Drivers: Allan Moffat, Gregg Hansford, Klaus Niedzwiedz
Year: 1988

The black Nissan R390 GT1 from Slot.it is available now.

Slot It SICA05F Nissan R390 GT1, No. 21 Le Mans Test Day 1991

The Nissan R390 GT1 was a racing car built to compete in the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1997 and 1998. The car was developed by Nismo (Nissan Motor Sport) and TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing). Powered by a 3.5 litr, biturbo, load-carrying engine rated at 600 hp, the chassis was a carbon fiber derivation of the TWR designed Jaguar XJR15. In the 1995, three cars with #21, #22 and #23 (23is NiSan in Japanese) were entered by Nissan Motor Sport with undeniably serious ambitions. The R390 driven by Martin Brundle was the fastest of the whole lot in prequalifying and it was very fast in qualifying too. The race however turned into an a together different story and the only surviving car at the end of the 24 hrs came in 12th overall.
