New Announcements   Small but very interesting announcements from Spark this week. There are many legendary models in the history of Ford however undoubtedly the one that put the blue oval firmly on the international motorsport map is the GT40. Conceived with one goal in mind, beat the Europeans at their own game and win LeMans, the GT40 line had a few years of development before hitting their straps in 1966 and conquering the world by winning the Daytona and LeMans 24hr races in the Mark II GT40 and the Sebring 12hr in the one off opened top version dubbed the X1 all in the same year. In this group of announcements we have the podium from LeMans plus the Daytona and Sebring winners all in 1:18 scale. The LeMans and Daytona winners have been produced previously and will be reproduced soon. The 2nd and 3rd placed LeMans cars and the Sebring winning X1 are new announcements and have not been produced before by Spark.
