T S R New Release News
New in from Scalextric are two iconic muscle cars both from the Chevy stable. This particular 1970 American car was raced by an Aussie in the UK. The very popular Frank Gardner won his third British Touring Car Championship in 1973 driving the big 7 litre Chev Camaro.
One for the collectors is a beautiful twin pack featuring the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray L88 and the more recent C6R Corvette. Both cars feature identical special paint jobs celebrating the 60th anniversary of Corvette and look stunning together in a beautiful presentation box.
In other news, Scalextric recently published the dates for their next releases for the rest of the year. The car we are all most intersted in is the second livery of the Allan Moffat XB Falcon in the Brut 33 livery. The date given is the 22nd of October for the UK which means we should see the car around 2 weeks after that. It is a pity we won't get the car first seeing it is an Aussie car but you never know, stranger things have happened in the slot world and maybe one day, Scalextric will produce the XY Falcon and HK Monaro etc in ATTC race liveries!
