Tonight we run the 4.5" Nostalgic Hard Body Stockcars.
Tech opens at 6:30PM with Qualifying starting at 7:00PM
This past week brought us a lot of great racing at Fast Eddie's and several new folks getting to join in the fun.
Here's how everyone finished.
Monday 3/20 - 4.5" Hard Body Stockcars
We had a great group of racers at the track to run the 4.5" Hard Body stockcars.
Walter Buxbaum won TQ with a fast lap of 4.070 white qualifying on orange.
Tom Eillers won the BMW507 Hot Wheels convertible car donated by Gary Johnson.
The track record was broken yet again by Walter Buxbaum with 239.01 laps. WTG Walter!!
With 15 entries we ran 8 in the A and 7 in the B-Main.
It was great to have Scotty Williams and Jesse Brown from Speed & Sport in Tampa joining us as well.

Tuesday night 3/21 six of us (Marty, Donny, Corky, Water, Jeff, Eddie)made the trip over to Tampa to race with the Speed & Sport gang. The drive even leaving during rush hour was like 45 minutes so not too bad.
Walter Buxbaum TQ'ed with a fast lap of 3.410 while qualifying on orange on the Tri-oval with 15 entries.
Aileen and her Dad are awesome hosts and all the racers made everyone feel at home. The racing was action packed, running on the fast Tri-oval with the heavy weight stockcars.
When the dust settled here's how each Main made out.
B-Main results

Ed Klean won the classic Hot Rod magazine donated by Steve Clark and Ken Engart won the light money in the first round on the last pass with a .0047 reaction time.

We had Dan and his group of friends get some VIP track time on the tracks and do some racing earlier on Friday.
Great group of guys and look forward to them coming back.
Saturday 3/25
Type F wing cars
In this race we saw a great battle between Carman & Tommy.......when the dust settled here's how they finished.

New wing car racer's......we need all of you that have F type wing cars to come and join us on Saturday's if at all possible. The experience you get from racing with our state racers is way beyond anything you can gain from just coming out and practicing. Our guys are here to help and answer any questions you might have.
There's a lot of racing coming up in Florida for the 2023 season.

SAT 8TH - Vero Beach FSCS(NASCAR, LMP & GTP) All classes will be held on the new King Track.
SUN 30TH - Vero Beach - GRRR (GT Coupe, CanAm, Stockcar)

SAT 13TH - Fast Eddie's Slot Cars & Raceway - Pinellas Park FSCS(NASCAR, LMP & GTP)
