We have deliveries this week from FLY and MITOOS and SIDEWAYS andSLOTWINGS.
MITOOS have delivered the complete set of their of-road raid vehicles. This is actually three different models with a choice of Standard or Pro chassis. The cars are the Mini All4 Raid, the Mitsubishi Lancer Dakar, and the VW Touareg Baja. The standard versions are fitted with the M930 Raid chassis which is all metal construction with belt-drive 4WD and working suspension. The PRO versions are fitted with the M931 Super-Pro chassis, also metal construction, with toothed belt 4WD, adjustable suspension, more powerful motor and chunkier tyres. These chassis are VERY strong for off-road use and will negoiate just about any obstacle you can build into a slot track, we will have the full range of complete RTR chassis in stock within a few days.
Another company to send us three similar cars is SLOTWINGS who delivered a set of March 761 models in works livery. They are not identical - the first one is sponsored by Rothmans and driven by Ian Scheckter, the next one is sponsored by Lavazza and driven by Lella Lombardi, and the last one is sponsored by Monaco Fine Arts and driven by Ronnie Petersen. Theye are limited editions and we only have a couple left after filling our advance orders, so be quick if you want them.
SIDEWAYS sent us two new cars. The Zakspeed Capri has D&W sponsorship, well know in the DTM series of the time. The Lamborghini Huracan is available in mythical Gulf colours and includes a fabric Gulf patch for you to sew onto your racing jacket.
FLY also delivered two new cars. The Porsche 911L Swedish Rally car is sponsored by Gulf and is the winner driven by Bjorn Waldegaard. The nice little Renault 5 Turbo is a special commission Limited Edition, very few are available.
DUE TO ARRIVE
SLOT.IT are sending the Audi R18 Ultra 4WD. Although similar to the previously released Audi R18 E-Tron 4WD car, this is a completely new tooling. This release is the # 4 car from Le Mans 2012. NSR have the BMW Z4GT Demon Tweeks scheduled for shipping. No advice at the moment from SCALEXTRIC or SRC or AVANT-SLOTalthough they all have cars due out in February.
NEW CARS ANNOUNCED
TEAM SLOT have announced a new version of the ever-popular Lancia Stratos rally car. This will be available in bright red as the Chardonnet car from the Tour de Corse, available within the next two weeks. It is actually the same car that has been announced by SCALEXTRIC for release in December.
