GRAN BRETAÑA - NUEVOS MODELOS DE SLOT PRESENTA LA EMPRESA MRE

MRE Slot News

NEW IN STOCK

Plenty more new cars this week because we have had deliveries from NSR and SLOT.IT and LE MANS MINIATURES and SCALEXTRIC and SIDEWAYS and FLYand SLOTWINGS.
From NSR we have the latest Mosler MT900 Sporza car, there aren't too many green sports cars so if you want to stand out in a crowd on the track maybe you should try this one ? We also have the Porsche 917K Rothmans, another mythical livery but it seems to work well on this popular racer.

LE MANS MINIATURES delivered the Peugeot 905 team cars from Le Mans 1991. These have race # 5 and # 6, otherwise are quite similar. Don't be misled by the pictures, the rear wing is packed separately at the back of the car to avoid any damage in transit, but is just a 10 second job to fit it.

New from SLOT.IT is the Audi R8C Reloaded, a popular new version of the firstSLOT.IT car. This is a presentation model from 1999, and correctly has race # 9 on one side and race # 10 on the other side. On the same delivery we also received the next car in the Winners Series, this is the Matra MS670B that wone the 1973 Le Mans race. As usual, the Winners Series cars are all Limited Editions.

SIDEWAYS sent us the Porsche 935 Brumos car that was driven to win the 1978 IMSA Championsip by Peter Gregg. If the car isn't enough, you could always add the new Grid Girl, Playboy Bunny Olivia.

SCALEXTRIC delivered a new BTCC car, the very colourful BMW 125 Pirtek car of Andrew Jordan. The BMW is reputedly one of the best SCALEXTRIC BTCC cars on track, so a good chance to get ahead of your fellow racers ?

If you like unusual Porsche 917K cars, take a look at these new releases fromSLOTWINGS. The orange car is the Weissach Taxi. Not sure what the fare was or where it took you, but would be a great way to get home from the pub after a night out. The red car is obviously described, although why it wasn't painted the same as the team cars of the time is known only to Porsche.

FLY delivered a new version of the Brabham BT44. From the 1976 Spanish GP, this car reportedly has a unique airbox, so a little bit of variety for collectors.

DUE TO ARRIVE
On the way to us are two superb cars from D&G OSTORERO, the Lotus 79 JPS # 5 Andretti and the Lotus 79 JPS # 55 Jarier. Yet again we have been told theTHUNDERSLOT McLaren M6 cars are on the way - I'll be very happy if they arrive but with every passing month I am reminded of the story of the boy who cried "wolf". Another overdue car that is expected to turn up is the TEAM SLOT Escort RS2000 MK2 Liverpool Police Car.
NEW CARS ANNOUNCED
We now have the THUNDERSLOT Lola T70GT Surtees LM67 car now available for advance orders. This is the BRG with white arrow car, something of an icon for British Le Mans fans.

We have also listed the next LMM driver figure for advance orders. We are sure there will be many of you pleased to see Graham Hill joining the famous lineup.

There are lots of new CARRERA cars (see the "Last Word" below) and we are getting very close to having them loaded onto our stocklist for advance orders.
NEWS ROUNDUP
LMM PEUGEOT 905 EVO. With the delivery of the new Peugeot cars from LE MANS MINIATURES (see above) we also have an EVO version of the Peugeot 905 LM92 winner. This has an improved chassis and more SLOT.IT parts, so performance is much better than the original release.

MILTON KEYNES SWAPMEET. Yes - it's this weekend. Sunday 17 February in Milton Keynes is the NSCC Slot Car Swapmeet. Always a good one to be at, the location attracts sellers from nearby Europe so there is an improved choice of goodies to spend your money on. It is also our local event, so do come and say Hello because we will be there with a table.

THE LAST WORD
Hard to think how busy it has been since we returned from Nuremberg. There were 20 new cars to deal with the first week, and another nine this week so far. Sorting out all the news and pictures from Nuremberg is a massive effort - so far we sent out 7 reports, and are still working on the last one.
Apologies to CARRERA fans - your report is nearly finished. With 45 new cars to arrange pictures for, check the 2019 prices, load them onto our stocklist, and then gather the news from Nuremberg and also from Carrera World, its the biggest job and therefore (human nature) it gets left until last. But, you know the saying - "If its good its worth waiting for".
Just when you feel the end is in sight, we have the Milton Keynes Swapmeet this weekend. I guess a day with feet up and a refreshing drink will have to wait another week.................
