This time of year the German company announce their programme of models for the next 12 months and beyond. Because there’s a large number of items we‘ve split them up into five categories for you: |
1:18 Racing Cars
There are 9 F1 World Champion cars of Senna, Hamilton, Lauda and Prost along with a few dozen other F1 cars. 2021 sees the F1 debut of Mick Schumacher and there’s a “ground floor opportunity” here to pick up one of the Dallaras that took him to the 2020 F2 Championship title. There’s also a number of Mercedes and BMW DTM and endurance cars, including the class-winning cars of Jim Richards and Tony Longhurst (BMW M3, 1987 Bathurst 1000) and Chaz Mostert et al (BMW M8 GTE) from the 2020 Daytona 24 Hour. |
1:18 Road Cars This section sees classics like the Mercedes 300 SL Roadster, BMW 3.0 CSL and 2002 Turbo, VW Beetle, Triumph TR6, Alfa Romeo GTA and Land Rover Series I and a swag of contemporary BMW M cars and 992-generation Porsche 911s.
|
1:43 Road & Racing Cars There’s a good selection of Michael Schumacher’s winning Benetton F1 cars here, along with son Mick’s 2020 F2 Dallaras. Plus a number of other F1 cars both modern and classic “dirty” ones, such as Alan Jones’ 1980 World Championship-winning Williams. A number of Formula E and F2 cars are also listed. For road car fans there are a number of current BMW M cars and Porsche 911s, Boxsters and Caymans to tempt you.
