This week we are excited to announce pre-orders for the first MINI GT 1:64 models produced in collaboration with KAIDO☆HOUSE. The much-anticipated Datsun 510 Pro Street will be available in “Midori” (green) and Murasaki (purple). The 510 series was marketed in Australia as the Datsun 1600 as a 4 door sedan and wagon and quickly developed a big following. Like all MINI GTs these models feature a diecast body and chassis with rubber tyres. In addition, these Datsuns have opening bonnets, revealing a highly-detailed GReddy-built KA24DET engine and multi-piece wheels with alloy barrels for added realism. There are many more parts than your typical premium 1:64 diecast, with the downpipe that exits the front guard modelled to go back up to the turbo in the engine bay. The bumpers, grille, chin spoiler and even the headlights are all individual parts. The icing on the cake is that there is going to be a chase car hidden amongst every 24 models, with the unique design yet to be made public.
