Minichamps have just announced 7 new models to their Formula One programme in 1:18 and 1:43 scale.
For Max Verstappen fans comes his 2019 Brazilian GP-winning Red Bull RB15 in 1:18 scale, his third win for the season. Minichamps are also marking Verstappen’s pole position and 10th career win by producing his 2020 Abu Dhabi GP Red Bull RB16 in both 1:18 & 1:43.
Sergio Pérez won his first F1 race at the 2020 Sakhir GP and his Racing Point RP20 has been announced in 1:18. This win was a huge achievement after Pérez was knocked back from 2nd to 18th place on the first lap after being hit by Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari. Kimi Räikkönen’s Alfa Romeo C39 from the inaugural (2020) Styrian GP will also be made in 1:18.
Minichamps are marking what became Romain Grosjean’s final F1 race by producing (in 1:43) his Haas VF-20 that came to a dramatic end on the first lap of the 2020 Bahrain GP. After hitting a guard rail the car split in two and caught fire, but fortunately Grosjean only suffered minor burns.
Yuki Tsunoda successfully completed his first F1 test at Imola last November. He drove a 2018 Toro Rosso STR13 rebranded with the new-for-2020 AlphaTauri team livery. Six weeks later it was confirmed he would be joining Pierre Gasly at AlphaTauri for 2021. This STR13 will be modelled in 1:43.
All of these models will be limited editions with production numbers to be confirmed. Click on the highlighted examples below to view all 7 cars available to pre-order online.
