AWRA Legacy WOMPS are affordable and fun to race. They combine inexpensive motors with vintage chassis with spec gearing to provide competitive racing on a budget, The races are typically close with consistency being the deciding factor.

Most of the Legacy WOMPS are put together with parts that are on hand with the exception of the motor and body.

Archdale Slot Car Speedway is currently opting for Stock Car bodies for their program, but other bodies, such as VW Beetles, Modifieds, Corvettes, Legends, and others are allowed in the class.
