The original Batmobile has a special place in my own memory because I motorised the original AURORA kit way back around 1966 using a REVELL chassis, rewound motor, and Dublicks tyres. I wish I had some pictures but the car was fairly short-lived because the club I belonged to wouldn't let me race it in any of the conventional classes and the chassis was soon removed into a Studebaker Avanti. But, I do hope to re-create the car as soon as the POLAR LIGHTS slot kits arrive. As above, enjoy the original artwork and how the Batmobile will be re-released.
