USA - Good morning sot car enthusiast!!
Wow......what a great week of slot car racing at Fast Eddie'sSC&R and congrats to our home town Tampa Bay RAYS on beating the NY YANKEES yesterday.
The last races of the week were held yesterday with the Florida Slot Car Series coming to Fast Eddie's for series race #4.
Special thanks to all the racers that made the long drive to join us for a fun filled day of slot car racing and we hope that everyone made it back home safely.
First up was NASCAR on the 126' Tri-Oval.
With 17 entries we ran two mains with 1 sitout in the A-Main.
In qualifying it was Brian Ambrose taking the pole with a fast lap of 2.877 while qualifying on orange.

After a quick break for some great lunch from my wife Elaine we moved on to LMP with 17 entries on the 154' Hillclimb track.
In qualifying it was JT Thompson winning the pole with a fast lap of 3.989 while qualifying on orange.

With 15 entries it was Mike Moock winning the pole with a fast lap of 3.995 while qualifying on orange. He knocked AJ Isbister off the pole by .004 of a second

Wednesday 5/3 - Bracket Drag Racing
We had a blast with all the gang drag racing and everyone up testing & tuning.
Drag racers......don't forget this Saturday is the first Saturday of the month so we will be drag racing at 3:00PM
In the Bracket race it was Gary Dorman getting the double win in the light money and the Classic Hot Rod magazine donated by Steve Clark.

Dwayne McCoy won the classic Hot Rod magazine donated by Steve Clark.
Light money went to Michael LoGrande in his first time drag racing with a reaction time of .0035. Congrats Michael!!

Awesome day of drag racing with a couple of young ones racing with us and joining in the fun.
Drag racers.....Don't forget that every 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month we drag race at 3:00PM.
This past Saturday Steve Clark went drag racing at Crazy 8's drag event in Lakeland Florida. Big congrats to Steve for finishing 2nd and also winning the light money. WTG Steve!!
There's a lot of racing coming up in Florida for the 2023 season.
